Description
Enjoy the beautiful, unique landscape of our camp as you venture out for a 30-minute trek with our majestic Sumatran elephants along the edge of the valley. We have 15 wonderful elephants at our camp, and you'll get to meet and spend time with one of them during this ride. Seated atop the head of this gentle giant, your own fun-loving mahout will explain more about the elephants and their individual personalities and you can ask him any questions you'd like about what we do at the camp!
During this leisurely stroll, you may also get to see monkeys and tropical birds in their natural habitat. Look down at the raging Ayung River and discover how much fun riding an elephant can be!
As we come to the end of the ride, your elephant will show you the pool as they wade through the water to cool off from the hot sun. Your friendly mahout also will help you snap photos with your lovely mount as a souvenir!
After the ride, relax and enjoy a delicious set lunch at the ‘Trunk’n’Mahout’ café and enjoy the elephants walking by.
For some dessert after your meal, our on-site Chocolate factory offers a quick look at the process of chocolate-making. You can even create your own elephant-shaped treats with our delicious range of toppings!
