Description
For all you adventurous souls coming to Bali, this is the most challenging, yet most beautiful trek there is to do on the island. Starting the night before, we lead you through the jungle to the highest point in Bali - the summit of the holy Mount Agung. From the top of this mountain, you will witness a sunrise like none you've ever seen.
As you gaze at the entire island of Bali from above, with a spectacular view of the neighboring islands of Lombok and even Nusa Penida in the south, we promise this will be a moment you'll never forget!
OPTION 1: BESAKIH STARTING POINT (takes about 12 hours) - MORE CHALLENGING OPTION for the very adventurous who really want to reach the summit
ITINERARY:
20.30 - 22.00: Pick up from your hotel (see below for exact times)
23.15–23.45: Arrival at starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by our English-speaking Guide.
23.45: Begin our climb to the summit and sunrise point
06.00: Arrival at the summit, where we witness the spectacular view and sunrise. Enjoy refreshments and a light snack while taking in the view
07.30: Begin our descent to Besakih Temple, the finishing point of our trek
13.00–13.15: Arrival at Besakih Temple and board our private car
13.30: Arrive at Puri Archa Restaurant for a relaxing buffet lunch.
14.15–14.30: Depart from the restaurant for your hotel
OPTION 2: PASAR AGUNG TEMPLE STARTING POINT (takes about 7 - 8 hours) - maximum altitude you will reach is 3,000m
