Description
Designed for those who want a relaxed introduction to scuba diving, our introductory course will allow our guests to enjoy the experience under direct supervision of a professional dive instructor (without having to complete a full scuba certification course). Almost anyone can enjoy this experience!
The introductory course includes a short theory lesson, a pool session and 2 stunning dives. One in Coral garden and one in The liberty shipwreck. The duration is 6 hours and we will give you a free CD of your underwater photos of the dives.
The pool session will allow beginners to learn the various important signs and breathing techniques required to ensure their safety during the dive. It will also let them get used to the weight of the equipment and it's functions underwater.
If you are a certified diver, you are welcome to join your non-certified diver friends at a discounted price (see the drop down box for more details). It is cheaper because it does require you to join the pool-session.

1. The PADI Scuba Diver course (2D/1N) is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for people who only plan to dive a few times a year to maximum 12 meters /40 feet. The PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily. With the Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. This course includes 3 theory sessions, 3 pool sessions and 3 open water dives.
2. PADI Open Water Diver Course (3D/2N) - This is the complete introduction to the wider world of diving. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most widely recognized diving certification in the world. Within a few days you can be enjoying the underwater world. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you will have the freedom to dive with a buddy independently of a professional.This course includes 5 theory sessions, 5 pool sessions and 4 open water dives.
U.S.A.T Liberty History:
The U.S.A.T Liberty ship was a cargo boat, 120 meters long, of the US Navy. The ship received a torpedo from a Japanese submarine in 1942 during the second world war but the boat didn’t sink directly. A tugboat from Holland towed it from the island of Lombok to Tulamben, where they beached it to salvage what was left of the cargo
The ship stayed there until 1963 when the big volcano “Gunung Agung” erupted, and tremors and lava flow pushed the ship into the sea where it lies now. The shipwreck is located between 3 to 35 meters of water. Access is from the shore, descending along the sandy bottom. A few tunnels are accessible for experienced divers, and there is a also the cargo hold, which is very safe over-head environment even for inexperienced divers.
The biodiversity of the site is incredible and the ship is covered of brilliant corals and multicolor sponges. There are big schools of Jackfish, Giant wrasse, Bumphead parrotfish, moray-eel, turtle, barracuda and occasionally black tip reef shark. It also a great site for macro with frequent sightings of Pygmy sea horse, leaf fish, gost-pipefish, frogfish and more. It makes for a glorious night dive, when your flashlight can pick up the incredible richness of the colors. The current is generally mild but sometimes in August bigger waves can make access more difficult.
